My heart goes out to you brother. When you called and gave me the news of the accident, I teared up.
Being a long time Harley rider, I have seen other friends meet their fate at the hands of a deer that appears out of no where. I am so relieved it wasn't fatal.
For all you riders please keep in mind:
- Always be alert when passing through areas of deer activity.
- Long time riders always try to avoid the two evening time periods known as bug hour and deer hour. But, with our growing populations of deer, the unexpected can happen at any time.
Randy get well and we will resume our planned trip with the Trout Whisperer as soon as you feel better.
